Countdown to Christmas – What Are You Going to Bake?

Bonnie’s Carrot Cake 


  •  2 cups Flour  
  • 2 teasp. baking soda
  • 1/2 teasp. salt 

Mix Together:  

  • 4 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup mazzola oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups of shredded carrots

 Add to the mixture above —

 Then add 1 cup of chopped walnuts.

 Turn into greased 9″ X 13″ pan and Bake 325 for 50 Min. or till done 


Blend Til Creamy:     (1 Batch is all you need for icing)

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Stick butter SoftenedDeadly final C
  • 4 cup Confectioner’s Sugar
  • 1 Teasp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 Teasp. Salt
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon

    Hi, Sylvia! I made a cheeseball, bacon/apricot appetizers and am doing those for another party, cranberry crunch for a brunch, chocolate wonderful for a party. I think that’s it for the party circuit this year!

    I made a cream cheese ball for Thanksgiving. I will be baking pecan pies for Christmas.
