Sylvia The Person
Sylvia McDaniel and her very supportive husband Don live in Texas with their teenage son Shane, Fats, the rotten dachshund, Putz, a miniature dachshund, and two fish that have lived longer than all the others to come from the pet store. Until January 2002 Sylvia worked for a major telecommunications company in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. At that time the communications company closed its doors forcing her to work at the job of her dreams, writing.
Currently, she's written seven novels, is working on her eighth and wishing the characters from her ninth novel would let her finish the book she's working on. A 1996 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist and the 1995 President of North Texas Romance Writers of America, Sylvia is very involved with the North Texas RWA and a member of Dallas Area Romance Authors.
